From Spring to Fall 2009
Yup that's snow... it's March 2009, Fishing season has begun. I'm not sure why Kevin all the sudden decided he not only loved the outdoors (which he always has) but that he loved fishing and camping as well. This was the begining of a summer full of hanging out by the pond or lake with a pole. It was GREAT! I don't think you can catch a fish your first time fishing in years and not get hooked. Well, Kevin was hooked!
Weber River
Fly fishing wasn't a big leap for Kevin. He watched video's and read magazines. And spent time researching what rivers were the best in Utah to fly fish. This is the Weber river. No luck this time.
Cute outfit Hu?
Owen's outfit wasn't much better... ha ha.
Kaysville Pond
Kevin's first Bass. It looked so cool! I think he caught this one at Kaysville Pond- I don't remember. Good size! This fish was so heavy. Nice Job Kevin!
We went float tube fishing for the first time in Pineview. It was a little creepy if you ask me. But so much fun. Huntsville is so beautiful. I wouldn't mind living up there. More days on the lake with Kevin, I'll take it!
Kevin caught huge fish. None we wanted to eat though.
I just tried to get some sun. I am so white. I did a little fishing as well in the float tubes. As usual I didn't catch anything.
Farmington Pond
Provo River
Kevin hooked a fish that was huge- they are skilled in evasion though. It jumped out of the water and dove like crazy and broke Kevin's line before he could let more out.
Trip to Eden
After hanging out with friends in Eden all night, we decided to visit Owen's mission President before heading home. We came prepared with fishing poles and ended up spending the day playing out back by their private pond. The fish were elusive which lead us to spend at least the next six hours playing and trying to catch them.

Owen and Shannon tried to trick the fish by fishing from the boat. It didn't work. They didn't have any more success from the boat than we had from the side.
